What an exciting week my first week at home has been! I have made so many new friends, met even more of my family, and have been out and about to see some of Mommy and Daddy’s favorite places, like Outback Steakhouse and La Fluente. I have been feeling great the last few days; my jaundice is all gone and my umbilical cord has fallen off! So far life is really good!

Tuesday I met  Mommy and Daddy’s friends, Mike and Indra. They put some pictures of me up on their blog too. Check them out at: mtvtn.blogspot.com. After my doctor’s appointment on St. Patrick’s Day, I got to have some green beer…Just Kidding! I actually meet my great Uncle Dale- Grandpa says that Uncle Dale is his brother from another mother so if he is anything like Grandpa me and him will get along great! Thursday, I met my Aunt Kim and my cousins, Ashlee and Madison. I am so jealous-they were in Florida when I was born. Too bad they didn’t bring me back some warm weather- I think I am going to love the summer just like Mommy does.  Friday, I met my Great Grandma Leonard and boy does she put the GREAT in Great Grandma.

I am sure you can see that my first week home was a busy one, but it was awesome. I can’t wait to meet more new friends and family in the upcoming weeks. I heard a rumor that the Easter Bunny is coming to visit me soon! I can’t wait to find out who that is!

Me, Mommy, and Daddy-All dressed up with nowhere to go!

Mom thinks I look Benjamin Button. What do you think? He He

I finally got to go home yesterday! Whoever says that home is where your heart is sure got it right! I love my room, my crib, and the rocking chair Grandma and Grandpa surprised me with.

Today I got to see my Daddy’s friends Sermo & Jay- they brought me a bunch of cool clothes, including my very first Detroit Tigers outfit- and Shane & Adam! Uncle Josh and Aunt Jill came over so I could get in some good snuggle time with my Auntie!  I feel so special always getting visitors! I also got a present from Aunt Sherry today! I haven’t gotten to meet her yet but she sent me lots of love and some new clothes- I poop on mine a lot so I really needed the extras she sent.

Here are some MORE new pictures from my first few days at home! Enjoy!

Me in my car seat headed home for the first time!

Breaking in my new bed!

Everything I eat goes straight to my cheeks!

I wuv my wubanub from Aunt Sherry!

Today I am feeling a little yellow. The doctor’s tell me that I might have a little bit of jaundice, but  the good news is I get to go home tomorrow. I’m so excited to see my room and to sleep in my very own crib. You wouldn’t believe it but this state of the art hospital has me sleeping in a plastic box on wheels. Imagine that!

Today was a very exciting day. I got to see Uncle Josh and Aunt Jill, Grandma and Grandpa, twice, and I met my God Father, Johnny. I love him already! My great Aunt Laurie and my cousin Jimmy came to visit me and I really liked them. I hope I get tall just like my cousin Jimmy. I also got to meet one of Daddy’s friends from work- I like her A LOT because she brought me a present :)

The paparazzi were after me again today so here are some more new pictures.

I think I look good yellow!

I love my God Daddy Johnny!

I almost smiled for Aunt Jill, but...

I save all my smiles for Grandma!

Hey everyone!!  It’s Travis.

I just want to take time to thank everyone for all that they have done and continue to do for Emily, myself, and now baby Easton.

We are blessed to have such a wonderful support group.  I will not name all of you because that type of post would be a little bit long.  But know that we are grateful for all that you do.

To the Faulkner & Farner families, we know this has been a difficult year for us all for many reasons, but we feel closer than ever before.  You have continued to be our port in the storm of life…and we know that Easton will love each of you just as much as we do.  I am pretty sure that Easton has a few angels watching over him from his family that has been called home over the years.

To my (Travis) work families at Canton Leisure Services and Motivation (www.mtvtn.com); I have been blessed to find friends at both of my “jobs” from the support of a great couple (Mike & Indra) for Emily and myself, to my buddies at CLS (Insert alphabetical listing of the entire Leisure Services Dept Here), your help and support has kept me sane during the trying times, and happy ALL the time.  To my best friends…I love you guys…there’s not much else I can say…we laugh, we fight, we cry, we party…it’s been and will continue to be a great ride.  Easton will have more “Uncles” than he will know what to do with.

Emily would like to thank everyone too (she’s not quite feeling up to reading off the list).  But you will just have to take my words for it. :-)

Visitors – Easton, Emily and I would love to see you.  We are very wiped out tonight, and won’t be taking any guests.  Tomorrow we would love to see you, we ask that you come between noon and 2 and 4pm-7pm tomorrow (a little earlier or later isn’t bad either).  We are located in the main hospital at St. Joeseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.  We are in the Mother & Baby unit, on the third floor in room 3053.

Well, we will put up some more pics later but its time for all of us to eat dinner and go to bed.  We love you all.

After 9 long months I have finally arrived.

I was born this morning, March 13th, 2010 at 8:19 a.m. In case you haven’t read my bio yet, I am 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and 20 inches long- but the way I eat I will be big before you know it!

Check out some of my very first pictures and leave a nice note for me, Mommy, and Daddy!!! Can’t wait to meet you all!

My First Picture with Mommy

All the nurses were impressed- I was VERY alert!

I think I look just like Daddy...What do you think?

I'm so hungry I could eat my arm!

Or I could try Uncle Josh's hand instead...

So Sleepy...Time for a nap!
